Abstract: P a c i f i c Northwest Research S t a t i o n. 90 p. T h i s report presents t h e findings of a 100-percent survey of t h e primary f o r e s t products industry in Oregon for 1985. “…The percentages indicate the log consumption included in the tables in appendix 2 as compared to the given log consumption plus estimated log consumption for those mills not included in the survey. The data were estimated by using information from the Directory of the Wood Products Industry (1994) and the 1988 survey (Howard and Ward 1991). There were at least 29 sawmills, 24 veneer and plywood mills, 1 pulp and board mill, 6 shake and shingle mills, 10 log export companies, and 4 post, pole, and piling operations that declined to participate in the survey.…”
