“…The experimental results showed the measurement accuracy was not satisfying and the direction of roll was not determined. The applications of dualbeam DSPI in roll measurement have also been reported in recent years, but the measurement models were not clear [25,26]. In 2016, our published research result revealed an exact relationship and approximate relationship between the roll angle and the DSPI interferometric phase [27].…”

“…Theoretical analysis reveals this kind of inplane displacement is equivalent to an inplane deformation. If a dualbeam DSPI [26,30,31] is used for measurement, the roll motion will result in the generation of a phase map which contains a set of parallel linear fringes. In turn, the roll can be determined by calculating the phase distribution or the corresponding defor mation distribution.…”

“…The three-dimensional position of the target object is displayed virtually, and the target is determined by changes in the position of the object. The three combinations have very practical applications [21][22].…”

“…The exciting frequency which can induce the local maximum response amplitude of the object is corresponding to the natural frequency. The traditional optical path of TA-ESPI based on the arrangement of the Michelson interferometer is susceptive to the environment noise, even airflow disturbance can introduce additional fringes (phase) during deformation measurement [9,30]. Therefore, the identification of natural frequencies of the object based on recognizing the density of the fringes of the mode shape is rough and laborious, which will further increase the calculation errors of the elastic moduli.…”
