Optimizing the physicoceramic properties of silica products using simplex-grid planning

Abstract

The manufacture of dinas products is based on the use of lime-iron mixtures as the mineralizers, and this involves providing a lime-calcining section and a workshop for preparing the mixtures. To simplify the technology and ensure an ecologically clean workspace, it may be of interest to use dry mineralizing additives directly in the batch.This article contains the results of an investigation of the optimization of the properties of siliceous articles with different forms of calcareous mineralizers, using the simplex-grid planning method involving Scheffer* plans and property-composition diagrams in a k-dimensional space (k = 3).In carrying out the experiments in the tricomponent system, using the simplex-grid planning method, we selected a plan for constructing a cubic model: ~, = Za,; + Zb,x,x, + ..w~x,x,3 + c,,Tc,;~x,.
