Optimizing the Axial Resistance Profile of Submerged Hollow Fiber Membranes

Abstract: Submerged hollow fiber membranes (SHFMs) are used for a wide variety of applications. Their applicability and their advantages, however, depend crucially on the prevailing hydrodynamics within single fibers.
