Abstract: Coiled tubing drilling (CTD) technology has been widely adopted as a cost-effective re-entry strategy to sidetrack from the existing wellbores, and drill high angle/horizontal wells to maximize recovery from remaining oil columns in the Alaska Prudhoe Bay field.
