Optimization of Shunt Active Power Filtering with PI Control in a Three-Phase Three-Wire System

Abstract: This research paper presents an optimization of shunt active power filter with proportional integral (PI) control in three-phase three-wire power systems. The method of optimization is to create a prototype shunt active power filter three-phase connected to the grid system with three-phase, three-wire, non-linear load supply to provide harmonics current monitors that occur in the system are reduced. This research has the advantage of using a threephase waveform voltage detection principle to generate one refer… Show more

“…Insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) devices with a hysteresis current controller are utilised with analogue cards to generate pulses for usage in inverter applications [12], [13]. In compliance with the recommended IEEE 519-1992 harmonic standard limitations, the test results analysis under both steady-state and transient settings [14]. Direct power control with predictive phasor measurement for shunt active power filters.…”
