Optimization of polarization-stable single- and multi-mode surface grating VCSELs towards high fabrication tolerance and superior performance

Abstract: Monolithically integrated surface gratings have proven to control the polarization of vertical-cavity surfaceemitting lasers (VCSELs) very reliably and effectively.
