Optimization of Membrane Reverse Osmosis separation for Aqueous media characterized by High mineralization

Abstract: The research highlights the issue of optimization of the membrane reverse osmosis separation for aqueous media characterized by high content of hardness salts. The pilot two-stage reverse osmosis plant was applied for the research. To improve the process of membrane reverse osmosis separation, antiscalants Avista Vitec 3000, Clarofos 381 and sodium tripolyphosphate were used.
