“…Sacchetti and Nejati reported the solubility of NIF in EtOH at 313.2 K as 46.53 mg·g –1 (or mole fraction of 0.005954) which is slightly more than our generated data, that is, 0.00543. The solubility of NIF in EtOH at 310.2 K was reported as 0.0552 mol·L –1 , where our generated data at 308.2 and 313.2 K are 0.0804 mol·L –1 and 0.0934 mol·L –1 , respectively. A number of reasons could be considered for describing the observed variations in solubility values from different laboratories, including; solute and solvent purities, time of equilibration, laboratory techniques used in solubility determinations, temperature variations, and drug polymorphism .…”

“…Table reports the solubility of NIF in PG (1) + water (2) mixtures and the density of the saturated solutions at 293.2, 298.2, 303.2, 308.2, and 313.2 K. The mg·g –1 solubility of NIF in PG at 313.2 K was reported as 10.72 mg·g –1 (or mole fraction solubility of 0.00235) which is in good agreement with the corresponding datum from this work, that is, 0.00231. Molar solubility of NIF in PG at 310.15 K, reported as 0.0404, is more than our generated data at 313.2 K, that is, 0.0322 mol·L –1 . The generated solubility data sets for NIF extend the available database of solubility data for pharmaceuticals which could be used in the pharmaceutical industry.…”
