“…Apart from the conventional treatments (acid–base or oxidation), surfactant‐assisted CNTs are also gaining interest in the minds of researchers as the most tolerable and remarkable functionalized carrier supports implicitly influences the biological activity of the immobilized enzymes together with thermal resistance, storage, and operational stabilities. Currently, the latest research has been published by Ameri et al (2021) considering the surfactant (Tween‐80) and glycyrrhizin to modify the MWCNTs for employing the lipase immobilization process through the physical adsorption approach exhibiting satisfactory results. The resulting profile has indicated the augmented thermal and storage stability as compared to the non‐immobilized enzyme with 93% of initial catalytic activity after being incubated at 70°C for 60 min along with the retention of 65% of original activity kept for 30 days and approximately 50% of catalytic performance was retained after 10 continuous cycles of reusability.…”
