Optimization of dynamic data traceability mechanism in Internet of Things based on consortium blockchain

Abstract: Internet of Things is widely used in many fields such as industry, medical care, education, and supply chain. With the participation of multi-authorized entities, a large number of dynamic data will be generated in the basic dimension of time. The operations on these data have to be safe and traceable for use in various forensics and decisions. Therefore, the key point of dynamic data security protection is to reject tampering of unauthorized users and to realize the process in evidence and tracing of the dyna… Show more

“…In an international trade setting, a consortium chain deployed between public and private chains could leverage its mediating role to facilitate transaction validation and the governance structure of grouped stakeholders [37]. The dominant players in a consortium chain play predefined roles, and its semi-decentralized structure may facilitate business operations in preferredaccess control and authority administration [127]. While R3 Corda, as a platform targeting financial applications, may support trade finance and with capability to administer agreements and contracts, Ripple focus on facilitating monetary and payment transactions among trade counterparties.…”

“…Intelligent: By interpreting and purposefully triggering actions related to predetermined guidelines and authorizations, each node in the IoT becomes a critical service agent within the smart city solution 36 . Although adaptation and integration provide the basis for a connected overlapping network, it is the intellectual functioning of the IoT that ultimately meets the requirements of smarter, high-functioning services 21,31,37 .…”

“…In this way, the Blockchain as a service (BaaS) standard eliminates the companies' need to develop their database management solutions. It will ideally allow smart city technologies to be added and removed from the network solution according to the need rather than technological dependency 35,37 . Accordingly, API solutions will remain proprietary and can be developed to support the independent module and objectives of a company.…”

“…Achieving Smart Specialisation (SS) goals requires the effective development of big data transformations the integration of new and traditional data to produce high-quality indicators that are comprehensive, timely, and actionable for collaboration, decision making, and dynamic interactions between stakeholders. The quality of these indicators, defined in terms of completeness, uniqueness, validity, accuracy, and consistency (Höchtl et al2016;Kemp,2014;Qiao et al,2018;Stancova et al,2018) is crucial for their use at national level planning, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as for facilitating European monitoring of SS progress and enablement of comparative evaluations between countries using big data approaches. The use of various instruments, including models, frameworks, and standards (Capello et al,2018;Cohen,2019;Foray,2014;Markowska et al2016;Rusua,2013;Fuster2020) facilitates multi-operations of SS processes for national decision making.…”
