Optimization of Culture Media for the Growth of Anabaena Pcc550, Anabaena PCC 574, and Cylindrospermum Pcc518, Cylindrospermum PCC 567

Abstract: In the present study, Anabaena PCC550, Anabaena PCC574 and Cylindrospermum PCC518, Cylindrospermum PCC 567 have been subjected to 7 different inorganic culture media. In order to identify the best growth medium i.e.; optimized medium, the nutrient requirement of these two algae have been evaluated as prime requisite.
