Abstract:Mesoporous silica was prepared using sodium silicate as a precursor and Cetyl Trimethylammonium Bromide (CTAB) as a templating agent. The adsorption ability of silica was enhanced by using DMA (dimethylamine) as a modifier and glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS) as a linking compound.
