Optimization of 204 veterinary drug residues method and establishing their mass spectrum library

Abstract: A multi-class multi-residue analytical method was validated in this paper for simultaneously identifying 204 veterinary drugs in pork by UPLC-QTRAP MS/MS, including sulfonamides, quinolones, β-agonists, and nitroimidazoles. MRM-IDA-EPI mode of QTRAP was used to establish a secondary mass spectrum library of these 204 veterinary drugs, which could enhance the qualitative analysis of suspect substances. The separation of substances was performed on a C18 column, with a gradient elution of 0.1% formic acid soluti… Show more

“…Chloramphenicol residues in animal tissues had been detected with the resource of the use of GC with electron capture detector (ECD) (Cerkvenik, 2006). GC with ECD have become notably applied for the selfdiscipline of amitraz and its metabolite residues that have been confirmed with the resource of the use of fueloline chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) without derivatization (Tao et al, 2011) Lincomycin and spectinomycin had been determined with the resource of the use of GC with nitrogen-phosphorus detection (NPD) and confirmed with the resource of the use of GC-MS. GC isn't always often used for the self-discipline of veterinary tablets because of the requirement of derivatization (Li et al, 2020).…”

“…Gómez-Pérez et al developed a high-resolution HR-MS library of 60 veterinary drugs for their identification in honey samples . Chen., D. et al and Li., X. et al developed a tandem mass spectral library of 400 and 204 veterinary drugs respectively using low-resolution mass spectrometers . Mass spectral libraries of pharmaceutical drugs also contain spectral information on several veterinary drugs. , The mass spectral data of some veterinary drugs exist in different spectral libraries, including “MassBank”, “Maurer/Wissenbach/Weber LC-MS library of drugs”, , MoNA (MassBank of North America), “Mass Spectra of Designer Drugs”, the “Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data”, and “NIST Tandem MS Library” .…”
