Optimization method for calculating the geometrical dimensions of the tooth zone of the switched reluctance motor

Abstract: Background: Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is a promising type of electromechanical energy converter. It is used in both motor and generator modes. SRM can be used not only in mechanisms with rotational motion, but also as linear motors, including maglev transport systems. A lot of publications are devoted to SRM design issues.
