Optimization in Multi-Frequency Interferometry Ranging: Theory and Experiment
Li Wei,
Wangdong Qi
Abstract:Multi-frequency interferometry (MFI) is well known as an accurate phase-based measurement scheme. The paper reveals the inherent relationship of the unambiguous measurement range (UMR), the outlier probability, the MSE performance with the frequency pattern in MFI system, and then provides the corresponding criterion for choosing the frequency pattern. We point out that the theoretical rigorous UMR of MFI deduced in the literature is usually optimistic for practical application and derive a more practical expre… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
