Optimization approaches to prevention tb in penitentiary institutions

Abstract: The problem of tuberculosis in penitentiary institutions is still relevant today. While the number of prisoners reduced by 3.7% in 2015 compared to 2014, TB incidence among persons entering preliminary detention units remains the same. However, in prisons incidence of tuberculosis and mortality has declined by 10% and 35.2%, respectively, over the same period.
