Optimising water requirement for nursery rearing of rohu Labeo rohita (Hamilton, 1822) in large outdoor concrete tanks: influence of water depth on seed performance
Abstract:A study was conducted to find the optimum water depth requirement for nursery rearing of rohu Labeo rohita (Hamilton, 1822). Nine concrete tanks of 50 m2 each (10 x 5 x 1.2 m) were grouped into three treatments T1, T2 and T3 and were filled upto 1.0, 0.75 and 0.5 m water depths, respectively.
