“…In a recent study, Wallace-Kunkel and coworkers determined that no advantage was to be gained by using 1,2-indanedione in sequence with ninhydrin compared to the use of 1,2-indanedione alone. This was in contrast to earlier studies and was thought to be due to the differences in reagent formulation used [109].
