Abstract:Researchers have studied factors that influence the sustainability of retirement withdrawals (e.g., withdrawal rate, withdrawal rules, volatility, asset allocation, taxes, longevity) for 30 years. The frequency of withdrawal patterns (e.g., annual, quarterly, monthly) has escaped inquiry.
