Optimal sizing and control strategy design for heavy hybrid electric truck

Abstract: This p a p er p resents a p arametric stud y focused on sizing of the p ower-train com p onents and o p timization of the p ower s plit between the engine and electric motor for minimizing fuel consumption. A scalable vehicle model based on a bi-Ievel optimization framework is built to promote this stud y .
