Abstract:Abstract-We consider a cooperative wireless network with a single source, a single destination, and M cooperative relays. We show that, with only limited feedback, MB bits, from the destination, using all the relays to perform beamforming may not be optimal. Assuming that the destination selects the relays whose power gains exceed a threshold and feeds back MB bits to specify a precoding matrix from a randomly generated precoder codebook, we find the optimal threshold that maximizes the capacity of a Decode-an… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
