Abstract:This paper presents an optimal design of a passive-adaptive Pendulum-Tuned Mass Damper (PTMD) to mitigate the structural vibrations of an Offshore Wind Turbine (OWT) with a flexible monopile foundation considering the Pile-Soil Interaction (PSI).
