Optimal Design for Facility Workshop Layout Based on Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

Based on the study of the workshop layout, aiming at minimizing "transportation distance", the mathematical model of the workshop layout is established, and the optimal design of workshop layout is achieved by using the genetic algorithm with penalty function.
