Optimal capacity configuration method of distributed compressed air energy storage in wind farm

Abstract: Energy storage is an effective approach to mitigate the stochastic character of renewable energy in power system. In this paper, distributed compressed air energy storage (DCAES) system is introduced and a mathematical model is proposed to obtain the optimal capacity of DCAES.
