“…The proposed new integrative method considers directly minimizing the quadratic finite‐horizon integral performance index subject to the constraint of robust stabilizability in designing the robust‐optimal fuzzy PDC controllers with low trajectory sensitivity. The reason why the TSBDEA is applied in this paper is that Chou (the third author of this paper) and his associates have shown that the TSBDEA may obtain both the better and more robust results than those existing differential evolution algorithms reported in the literatures . An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed new integrative method.…”

“…Noman and Iba [16] proposed a local search technique by adaptively adjusting the length of the search, using a hill-climbing heuristic. This study proposes a robust Taguchi-crossover operation for local search to enhance DE and to find improved offspring [29][30][31][32]. The Taguchicrossover differential evolution (TCDE) algorithm integrates a cosine similarity measure and an evaluation function to successfully find the best weights of document keywords for auto-reply accuracy in an e-learning system.…”

“…For other population-based algorithms such as the GA [6], PSO [7], and DE [8] encountering the same problem, it has been observed that using the OA increases the convergence performance. On the other hand, to the best of our knowledge, the effect of the OA on the performance of the GSA has not been investigated yet.…”
