Optical single sideband modulation using fiber nonlinearity and injection locked technology in radio‐on‐fiber systems

Abstract: We propose a transmission system based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) effect and injection locked distributedfeedback (DFB) laser to achieve optical single sideband (OSSB) modulation. These two kinds of technologies fall on frequency band approximately nearby 10.8 GHz to enhance OSSB signal.
