“…For example, reversible probes were developed [69][70][71][72][73] which can be oxidized and reduced in vivo enabling visualization of the cellular redox state. While this does not yield H 2 O 2 concentration data, it enables studies of the dynamic balance between oxidants and reductants.…”

“…Such detection systems have a true sensor-like performance but still need to be 'externally' regenerated, and thus quantify an accumulative H 2 O 2 concentration over deployment time. One example is the Prussian Blue (PB)-Prussian White (PW) redox pair, where PW is oxidized by H 2 O 2 to PB (or K 3 Fe(CN) 6 [70]) exhibiting a strong shift in optical properties, which can then be regenerated by a reducing agent such as ascorbic acid [69,70]. Koren et al [69] use a highly photostable luminescent crystal coupled to the PB/PW pair, using the inner-filter effect to correlate changes in luminescence to changes in H 2 O 2 concentration (Figure 6).…”

“…Chemical way is also applied. 17,19 The electrochemical deposition process that leads to the formation of the hybrid modified electrode on the Pt electrode surface needs to be carefully controlled. The fabrication of a chemically modified film electrode is easily controlled by using consecutive cyclic voltammetry (CV) synthetic procedure, in which an increase in the peak current of an appropriate redox couple of the modified film indicates that the film is formed.…”

“…The fabrication of a chemically modified film electrode is easily controlled by using consecutive cyclic voltammetry (CV) synthetic procedure, in which an increase in the peak current of an appropriate redox couple of the modified film indicates that the film is formed. 19 In our previous study, 4-aminoquinolidine (AQ) was polymerized in aqueous medium to give an electro active film (PAQ). Also, it was shown that the PAQ can be loaded by Ni 2+ ions to give stable polymer films with reasonable redox response.…”
