Abstract:The study of charge-density wave (CDW) distortions in Weyl semimetals has recently returned to the forefront, inspired by experimental interest in materials such as (TaSe 4 ) 2 I. However, the interplay between collective phonon excitations and charge transport in Weyl-CDW systems has not been systematically studied. In this paper, we examine the longitudinal electromagnetic response due to collective modes in a Weyl semimetal gapped by a quasi-one-dimensional charge-density wave order, using both continuum an… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
