Optical Parametric Generators and Amplifiers

Abstract: Abstract. Mid-infrared parametric generators and amplifiers in quasi-phase-matched and birefirngence phase-matched nonlinear crystals are reviewed. Broadband mid-infrared generation using collinear and noncollinear parametric interactions is discussed.
