Optical emission from a ‘beam mode’ transparent cathode glow discharge

Abstract: We investigate optical emission from a low-pressure ‘beam mode’ inertial electrostatic confinement glow discharge, created using cylindrical grid electrodes, having cathode inside a grounded, concentric anode.
