Optical, Dielectric and Structural Properties of SnO2 Nanoparticles Via Sol-Gel Method

Abstract: This paper discuss the optical parameters of tin oxide nanopowder prepared by the sol-gel method. Tin oxide nanopowder shows 81 % transmittance in the near IR region. In this region, tin oxide nanopowder shows the highest reflectance, 81 %. The optical band gap was 3.43 eV. The cut-off wavelength of the tin oxide nanopowder is 362.15 nm.
