Optical demonstration of crystallography and reciprocal space using laser diffraction from Au microdisc arrays

Abstract: Crystallography is an invaluable tool in materials science, solid state physics and protein science. Understanding crystallography requires grasping the powerful but abstract concept of reciprocal space.
