Optical coherence tomography angiography in the diagnosis of neovascular age-related macular degeneration

Abstract

OCT angiography enables diagnosis of both classic and occult choroidal neovascularization in patients with AMD as well as dynamic assessment of the size of the neovascular complex during anti-VEGF treatment. The method has high sensitivity and specificity.
