Abstract: Ammonium uranate /HO, IV,0, IPrecipitation /Calcination / Stoichiometry Summary The optical energy gap {Eg) have been measured for ammonium uranates, UO, and U3O,. The effect of precipitating media, purity, mode of heating, temperature of calcination and stoichiometry on the Eg value are investigated.
