Opportunities for Knowledge Discovery in Spatio-Temporal Information Systems

Abstract: Spatial Information Systems and their recent temporal extensions typically store large volumes of geo-referenced information. Having such size, it becomes increasingly difficult to explore their contents with current querying techniques.
