Abstract: Bioactive glasses (BGs) are widely used in orthopedic and dental applications for their ability to stimulate endogenous bone formation and regeneration. BG applications more recently broadened to include soft tissue conditions, based on their ability to stimulate angiogenesis, soft tissue regeneration, and wound healing.
