Opioid Use Disorder, Adolescents, and the Importance of Treatment in the Emergency Department

Abstract: Deaths from opiate overdoses are climbing every year, especially from fentanyl. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable to the acute and chronic harms associated with drug use, addiction, and overdose.
