Abstract: ImportanceVisual impairment is an irreversible adverse effect in individuals who experienced a childhood brain tumor. Ophthalmological evaluation at diagnosis enables early detection of vision loss, decision-making about treatment, and when applicable, the timely use of visual interventions.
