Operation Principle and Influence of the Sub‐Harmonic Component Utilized in the Brushless Hybrid Excited Machine with PM in Rotor

Abstract: Hybrid excited machine (HEM) is a novel type of machine which has attracted much attention as it is able to adjust the flux linkage flexibly and ensure the wide speed range operation. In this paper, a novel brushless HEM with permanent magnet (PM) located in rotor is further researched.
