Operating Efficiency-Based Data Mining on Intensive Land Use in Smart City

Abstract: The discordance between the operation of rail transit and surrounding land use is highlighted with the rapid construction of rail transit in China. The related research on coupling relationship is well needed. Taking 13 typical commercial service rail transit stations in Xi'an as the example, this article established the evaluation indicator of coordinated relationship between rail transit station operating efficiency and land use, and a data envelopment analysis (DEA)model was used to evaluate the coupling de… Show more

“…ML based approach has also been used to assess the crop quality and consumption of electricity (Fujimoto et al, 2019 ), to forecast energy load in smart energy management grids (Fallah et al, 2018 ), to address the sustainable operations of power control by incorporating energy harvesting and internet of things (Chu et al, 2019 ), to reduce waste and conserve industrial resources and implement process graph framework to deal with resource conservation network issues (Lim et al, 2017 ), to evaluate the relationship between sustainable operation of rail transit and land use by employing data envelopment analysis (Duan et al, 2020 ) and to achieve sustainable transportation, explore vehicle automation through closed loop matching where the dataset is generated, trained and evaluated using neural network (Hegedűs et al, 2021 ).…”

“…We found several studies on data mining methods for classifying the way urban land and public space are used and thus more appropriately functionally zoning undeveloped land. In (Duan et al, 2020), scientists took the commercial services of rail transit stations as an example and used a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to evaluate the degree of coupling between the operational efficiency of rail transit stations and the relationship between land use. The higher the degree of coupling, the higher the mutual support between the development of surrounding land and the sustainable development of the station.…”

“…Only by expanding the use of intensive land use (ILU) will it be possible to resolve the conflicts. In detail, ILU refers to the continuous improvement of land use efficiency and the achievement of economic, social, and ecological benefits through the rational layout of the city, optimization of land use structure, and sustainable development [3][4][5][6].…”

“…More and more scholars are currently devoted to scientifically evaluating and analyzing the ILU level, which has become a popular topic in recent years, with the ultimate aim of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) [4,[7][8][9]. Researchers have conducted many studies on ILU evaluation.…”
