Open-book management in libraries: A case study of Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Abstract: The study aims at defining the requirements of applying open-book management and showing the stages and steps to apply this new management methodology in different types of libraries. The researcher selected Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a great culture minaret to measure the degree of practicing open-book management from the point of view of its employees in order to identify the constraints that limit the full application of open-book management in the library.
