Online platform „Scientific events in the Republic of Moldova” – visibility and accountability

Abstract

The paper examines the opportunity of using information technologies to enable the monitoring of scientific events organized in the Republic of Moldova. It describes the current functionalities of the online platform for registration, monitoring and reporting of the national scientific events, developed and implemented starting from January 2022. The paper analises the data from the official registries of scientific events managed manually by The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (NAQAER), those generated by the National Bibliometric Instrument (NBI) regarding the proceedings of scientific events, and the data generated by the recently developed online platform, during its implementation duration.
