Online learning refers to teaching and learning process through asynchronous and real-time communication over the Internet and with multimedia. This study examines the perception and acceptance of online learning as an alternative way in teaching undergraduate courses at School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML) after COVID-19. It also aims at identifying factors that facilitate online learning and the challenges of online learning. To accomplish the aim, this study applied a quantitative approach, in which data were collected using an online survey involving 156 undergraduate students at STML. Results show a moderate high level of acceptance on online learning. In addition, it was found that among four main factors that facilitate online learning, Enthusiasm ranked the highest, followed by Satisfaction, Self-Efficacy, and Enhancement of Communication Skills. Besides, results also reveal that among the main challenges encountered by majority of the students, delivery speed of teaching and learning, students’ attitude, struggles and stress of online learning mode were the most common issues. Results yielded in this study add to the existing literature on the possibility of online learning as an alternative pedagogy in post COVID-19.

We live in a modern environment where learning does not have any barriers. Our work aims to become the main gateway for people of any interest to take advantage of the full opportunities of e-learning. We also built a dataset of e-learning courses from various sources and developed a platform that can understand search queries. We introduce a unified massive open online courses (MOOCs) searching platform using semantic methodology called MOOCMaven. Our platform can be accessed both via web and mobile. This paper demonstrates the platform’s efficiency in generating a list of courses relevant to search queries. Additionally, MOOCMaven offers an application programming interface (API) collection to ensure access to the data. Our approach could find the gaps in e-learning course discovery and highlight the solution to the public. This paper provides a detailed description of the algorithms, methodologies, and technologies utilized to augment the usefulness and efficacy of the platform.

Online education is an inevitable trend in the era of digital transformation, but effective implementation is not easy. This research was conducted to understand the relationship between interaction and the perceived progress of online learning, under the mediated effect of satisfaction. Data was gathered from 223 full-time learners at nine universities in Vietnam, using Google Forms. Since the study had a mediating variable, the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used. The results show that learner–lecturer interaction, learner–learner interaction, and learning content have positive impacts on online learning satisfaction. The findings of this study reveal that satisfaction has a positive influence on overall progress, which means that, as satisfaction increases, perceived progress in online learning interaction increases as well. Based on the findings, the authors suggest using the flipped classroom model to increase the interactivity and effectiveness of online teaching. This study sheds new light on the relationship between interactions and perception of progress in online education at private universities in Vietnam's southern region.
