China’s higher education system is one of the largest and most complex in the world, with a vast number of higher education institutions scattered across different provinces. Evaluating the efficiency, productivity change, and technology gaps of these institutions is significant for understanding their performance and identifying areas for improvement. In this context, this study employs three different approaches, DEA super-SBM, Malmquist Productivity Index, and Meta-Frontier Analysis, to evaluate the efficiency, productivity change, and technology gaps of China’s provincial higher education systems. The study results revealed that the average higher education efficiency in China is 1.0015 for the study period of 2010–2021. A rapid and continuous increase was witnessed in higher education efficiency in China from 2014 to 2020. Meta-frontier and Group-frontier, higher education efficiency scores of low-level literate provinces are greater than middle and high-level literate provinces. However, the TGR of higher and middle-level literate provinces is greater than low-level literate provinces, indicating a superior technological level. The average MI score is 1.0034, indicating growth in productivity change. Efficiency change is the main determinant in higher education productivity growth instead of technological growth. The Middle and Low-level literate provinces witnessed growth in higher education productivity, while high-level literate provinces observed a decline in productivity change. The Kruskal-Wallis test provides evidence that a significant statistical difference exists among the three groups of education levels for the average scores of MI, EC, TC, and TGR.

The efficient capital markets hypothesis (EMH) posits that security prices incorporate all available information in capital markets. Nevertheless, real stock markets often exhibit speculative behavior due to information asymmetry and the limited rationality of investors. This paper employs Thank you for your feedback. I've reviewed the changes, and the adjustment made to revise the year from 2019 to 2023 according to the reference information is accurate. statistical analysis, a multiple regression approach, and robustness tests to investigate the impact of investor attention and accounting information comparability on stock returns. We collected monthly data from all Chinese A-share stocks listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange for the period 2017–2021. Our findings reveal a significant positive correlation between current investor attention and current monthly stock returns and a significant negative correlation between lagged investor attention and current monthly stock returns. Moreover, accounting information comparability serves as a substantial moderator, amplifying the positive effect of current investor attention on current stock returns and mitigating the negative impact of lagged investor attention. We investigate the indicator of accounting information comparability from the perspective of investor attention. Significantly, we use accounting information comparability as a moderating variable for the first time to assess its influence on stock returns. Our results demonstrate that accounting information comparability significantly contributes to mitigating excessive share price declines and stimulating share price increases. This discovery also acts as an internal driver for listed companies to proactively improve accounting information comparability.

Introducción. La industria turística es crucial para el desarrollo económico de Cuenca, por ellos la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad ha realizado importantes inversiones en la promoción, incluyendo la creación de la página de Facebook Visit Cuenca y la puesta en marcha de un centro de información turística. El propósito de esta investigación es explorar la percepción de los turistas sobre la administración de los servicios turísticos en Cuenca, mediante el análisis de los comentarios proporcionados por los turistas. Objetivo. Identificar áreas de mejora en la administración de los servicios turísticos y desarrollar estrategias para mejorar la experiencia turística en general. Metodología. El diseño de la investigación para este estudio sobre la percepción de la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, es mixto ya que fue una combinación de métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos. Los métodos de recogida de datos para este estudio incluyeron el análisis de los comentarios extraídos de la página de Facebook "Visit Cuenca" y del foro turístico de la ciudad de Cuenca en Trip Advisor. El tamaño final de la muestra fue de 100 participantes, entre turistas ecuatorianos e internacionales. Resultados. Se obtienen los siguientes resultados en diferentes componentes de la percepción de Cuenca, Ecuador: 1. Percepción de los Turistas hacia los Servicios de la Administración Turística. 2. Percepción de los Turistas hacia los Servicios de Información Turística. 3. Percepción de los turistas sobre los servicios de comida y bebida. 4. Percepción de los turistas sobre la seguridad. 5. Percepción de los turistas hacia la cultura y las tradiciones locales. 6. Percepción de los turistas sobre la sostenibilidad ambiental. 7. Comparación de la percepción entre turistas nacionales e internacionales. 8. Agradecimientos y 9. Conclusiones: La investigación muestra la percepción de la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, muestra los niveles de satisfacción de los turistas hacia diversos aspectos de los servicios turísticos. Los resultados muestran que los turistas están satisfechos con los servicios de alojamiento, los servicios de transporte, las atracciones turísticas y los servicios de comidas y bebidas. El estudio también pone de relieve las diferencias de percepción entre turistas nacionales e internacionales. Sin embargo, hay margen de mejora en la disponibilidad, calidad y accesibilidad de los servicios de información turística, así como en la aplicación de medidas de seguridad y prácticas de sostenibilidad medioambiental.
