Onion Bulbs Production Grown by Sets 1. Effect of Plant Density and Set-Size

Abstract: This study was conducted during the seasons of 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 at the Experimental Farm of Shandweel station to investigate the effect of plant density (100, 80, 60 and 40 plants/m 2 ) and set-size (10-15, 15-20 and 20-25 mm) on onion (Allium cepa L.) yield and some bulb characteristics of onion produced from sets under Sohag Governorate conditions.
