Abstract:BACKGROUND: Congenital muscular torticollis (CMT) is a common pediatric abnormality involving sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle. The pathogenesis of CMT has yet to be elucidated, but intrauterine abnormalities seem to be a plausible explanation.
