“…Dopamine (DA) is an important neurotransmitter molecule of catecholamine that is widely distributed in the mammalian central nervous system for message transfer [27]. The deficiency of dopamine in the central nervous system is affected by some neurological diseases such as schizophrenia and parkinson's disease and the high level of DA in biological system leads to reward, pleasurable feelings and euphoria [28] In this paper, platelet-like CuO were prepared by hydrothermal method using copper chloride (CuCl 2 ), sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as primary precursors and CTAB as surfactant, which was found to be homogeneously shaped.
