“…The new peak at 1637 cm –1 was the tensile vibration absorption peak of CO bond in −COO–, and the tensile vibration absorption peak at 1154 cm –1 was the PO bond. Additionally, the peak at 1063 cm –1 indicated the stretching vibration absorption peak of the C–N bond, and 915 cm –1 was the stretching vibration absorption peak of the P–O bond . It can be seen from the results that −PO(O–NH 4 + ) 2 active groups were successfully introduced into sericin .…”

“…Additionally, the peak at 1063 cm −1 indicated the stretching vibration absorption peak of the C−N bond, and 915 cm −1 was the stretching vibration absorption peak of the P−O bond. 25 It can be seen from the results that −PO(O−NH 4 + ) 2 active groups were successfully introduced into sericin. 26 In order to further verify whether the synthesis was successful, we conducted NMR tests on H 3 PO 3 and IFR to test their 31 P spectra, and the test results are shown in Figure 1.…”

“…Figure 9 shows the residual's optical images and SEM images of paraffin/EP and W‐UiO66‐PPA‐paraffin/EP, the paraffin/EP shows a fluffy char layer, while the W‐UiO66‐PPA‐paraffin/EP displays a compact and integrity residual char. Furthermore, the higher the graphitization degree of char layer, the better the flame retardancy effect of condensed phase 28 . The graphitization degree of char layer is explored by Raman spectra and the results are showed in the right part of Figure 9.…”

“…The paraffin/EP and W‐UiO66‐PPA‐paraffin/EP both show two representative peaks, D (around 1592 cm −1 ) band and G band (around 1350 cm −1 ). The area ratio of D and G bands (I D /I G ) represents the graphitization degree, the higher the I D /I G , the lower the graphitization degree 28 . According to the calculation results, the I D /I G value of paraffin/EP is 3.87, and the W‐UiO66‐PPA‐paraffin/EP has a lower I D /I G value of 3.15, which reveals that the graphitization degree of residual char for paraffin/EP becomes higher after adding W‐UiO66‐PPA.…”
