One dimensional numerical modelling of microwave breakdown in OMUX filters

Abstract: International audienceA theoretical investigation of microwave breakdown in output filters is presented. In order to model this phenomenon a multidisciplinary approach with a combination of three fields of science was used : electromagnetism, thermal transfer theory and plasma physics. In this article we resume the theoretical study and we present our results, on determination of breakdown appearance and on influence of various parameters on this phenomeno
